Music!: I can't hear :/

Rrrrrraging ear infection! Oh, the pain! Oh, the lack of insurance!

I smell fall in the air! I have at least one working sense left.

And now, because the outside world is hostile and scary, video games.

Bless me, for I have finally broken my 360 virginity. )

Come onnnnn, I just want a good console RPG with quick battles and diverse characters and a complex story. Or at least another Silent Hill. Are you trying to drive me to FPS's?

;_;

Menards Guy has joined your party!

July 7th, 2007 (09:42 am)

Today is the day I smack some boards together and call it a bookcase. I hope to work my way up to shelves. Shelves are a flat piece of wood, I know. You have to understand my construction talents hover at about the wood glue/scotch tape stage.

Eventually, when I become a level 50 Woodworking Mage, I'll attempt a drafting table. ~EXCITING FAST-PACED BOSS MUSIC~

How to Spiral Out of Control:
A Guide by Lemoncakes

1. Go on wikipedia to look up something inconsequential. In this case, MVI format.

2. Click on something that seems promising, only to realize that it's not it at all. Kick wikipedia in the shin.

3. Do a quick google search.

4. Notice the first result is OMFG for one of your favorite band's new releases. And free shipping?! Click! CLICK IT NAAAAAO

5. Add thing to cart. Happy dance.

6. Realize that, to get free shipping, you need to get another thing. Okay.

7. Consult book list to find suitable book to purchase. Search for books. Get angry at overpriced books and kick things.

8. On a whim, check to see how much book is over at B&N. Find that the book, though a different edition, is cheaper there! And free shipping?! ADD TO CART YESPLZ

9. Realize that, to get free shipping, you need to purchase another thing. Okay.

10. Realize that you now need to find more than one bookthing now that you have two orders going on two different sites. (10b. Conveniently forget that you can cancel either order)

11. Consult book list to find suitable book(s) to purchase. Search for books. Get angry at overpriced books and kick things.

12. Settle on books. Place orders. Happy dance.

13. Apologize to bank account. Eat grass and rocks for the remainder of life.

My dog is a farm.

I thought I felt two bumps yesterday, but when I looked, they weren't there. This morning, he has not only two, but FOUR bean-sized whitish-brownish lumps popping out of his neck and by his ear.

I have never in my life seen anything like it. It looks like he's growing mushrooms out of his skin. They aren't lipoma lumps like my other dog had, they aren't under the skin, they don't gradually rise and fall. These protude sharply out, and look to be covered with a thin film of skin that houses some sort of mystery fluid.

This dog had had skin cysts before, but they grew very slowly and usually drained easily, leaving only a slight scar. These new bumps dramatically increased in size since last night, and though he's been rolling around on the ground (nothing unusual there, he's always psycho), they haven't popped or drained. He doesn't seem to even know they're there, whereas with the cysts, he was constantly licking and scratching.

I'm torn between concern and disgust. He keeps walking up to me with his face all ":D?" but I'm afraid to touch him because I don't want a billion invisible d00m bacteria getting on me. I'm afraid they'll spread to the cats, or someone else. I would just hang around outside until we take him in to get checked later, but if the cause of them is from something outside, I don't want to expose him to it. Ugh, every time I look at them, my overactive imagination sees worms falling out or aliens bursting through the skin to sing Ragtime Gal and shoot acid/spores in my face.

This is REALLY freaking me out, guys.

EDIT: There's a picture in the comments, so don't look if you're easily disgusted or prone to violent fits of projectile vomit.
